Hello there! Thank you for your interest in contacting me. ๐
If you want to collaborate with me on a project, commission art or designs, hire me or inquire about full-time, part-time, contract, consultation, teaching, mentoring or freelance opportunities, sponsor or gift me money, material or immaterial goods, commodities, services, experiences, or honorary academic titles, please feel free to reach out to me through any of the platforms listed below.
You can also reach me at my personal e-mail address: erin.list@outlook.com
๐ฐ Want to support me and my projects financially? You can do so here on ko-fi.
The type of projects I can see myself doing and getting involved with include, but aren’t limited to:
- Drawings, paintings, and illustrations
- Including scientific illustrations and visualizations (e.g. of a newly discovered dinosaur or other extinct animal species)
- Concept art and visual development (for e.g. games, movies, film or animation)
- Game development (digital or video games, or analog games like board and card games)
- Maps & cartography (for e.g. role-playing games and books, fantasy novels, etc.)
- Book and album covers
- Worldbuilding (creating lore and other elements of a fictional world)
- Books (e.g. illustrating children’s books)
- Character designs
- Icon and pictogram sets, emojis
- Visual instructions and information graphics
- Comics [full or parts of it, like layout, inks, colors, lettering, cover art]
- Invention and design of tools and gadgets that help marginalized and/or disabled people
- Getting rid of hostile architecture
- Painting murals in the real world
- Holding a workshop (on e.g. something art & design related)
- Joining a band or be part of a live performance (as e.g. drummer or percussionist)
- Projects where I get to systemize all day long (look for if-and-then patterns)
See something in my portfolio that you think would already fit nicely for a project of yours? (e.g. an illustration that would make for a nice album cover, or a character design that would fit in your game or story)
Feel free to ask if I’d let you use it for such a purpose, and we can talk about it.
Asking is free and doesn’t cost you a cent. If you expect me to do any actual work for free though, as for instance, unpaid “art tests”, well, no, I won’t. My portfolio should suffice to show you what I’m capable off. Shame on you by the way if you engage in such practices and exploit other people and their labor this way. Please change your ways of thinking, acting, and how you conduct business, or leave whatever industry you’re in and do something else with your life.
I also generally expect to be properly credited for my work. (Which means at the very least including my name in the credits of the respective project, even if it is “just” a poster or an infographic. In the case of scientific illustrations for any publications, I expect to be named as the artist in the paper [This is from my experience not common practice in either just some scientific fields, or academia in general, which to me is a sad display and reminder of how the sciences and the arts have at some point in history lost connection with each other])
As a general disclaimer, I refuse to collaborate or work with (and particularly for) companies that sell products that are harmful to human health, promote discrimination, or disregard the environment. This also includes:
- (neo-)fascists and their supporters
- (neo-)nazis and their supporters
- (neo-)imperialists and their supporters
- totalitarians
- kleptocrats
- (br)oligarchs
- autocrats
- absolutists
- (neo-)colonialists
- right-wing extremists

- any studio, company, or institution that engages in workplace practices like crunch
- any studio, company, or institution that doesn’t pay its interns or employees fair and adquate wages
- companies or institutions that engage in greenwashing, pinkwashing, rainbowwashing, and/or fake diversity and inclusion
- people who are nice and friendly in front of the camera or other public facing, but heinous behind the scenes

- any person who systematically, knowingly, and/or intentionally abuses their power to oppress, exploit, or mistreat people or animals
If you are such a person, please only contact me if you want to give me money, material or immaterial goods or services without wanting anything in return. I promise I’ll put them to good use. I don’t care how many academic titles you have either (this is in particular relevant in title-fetishistic Austria, my home country), or who your parents are or were, or what “grand projects” you have accomplished in the past, or any other such reasons that make you think you’re something “better” than anyone else (what a narrow, limited, binary way of thinking is that anyway?). Also, take some time to think and reflect about the consequences of your actions and your position of power inside a complex human social hierarchy network that has developed over centuries, millenia, or just a couple years. Perhaps there is still some hope left for your soul.
I also have (or have had) an online presence on the platforms listed below, but currently don’t use them much in an active manner, for various reasons. In general, you can thank the broligarchs and technocrats for that, the malignant or reckless (mis)use of computer algorithms (like bots), greed for ever more monetary profit, the overall way that people have conversations on these platforms, and other abuses of power in connection to social media platforms.
While it’s technically possible to reach out to me there, you will likely not get a response anytime soon, as I’m not checking those platforms very often.
